At ECCI, the traditions of old world craftsmanship are married with modern technology. Our products are created with the explicit goal of making the highest quality driving simulation controls possible. Since our first product introduction in late 1994, continual development has culminated in our fifth generation product - the CDS4000 series. The 4000 is a modular design offering broad flexibility in meeting our commercial customers needs. Many options are available including the revolutionary FLDS damping system. The 4000 series provides an unmatched degree of feel and control without sacrificing the durability needed to survive in a commercial environment. |

The quality of steering response is paramount in any discussion of computer racing simulation hardware. The product of years of development, ECCI labs have created the ultimate in steering quality for the discriminating user. Glass-smooth and ultra-responsive to the slightest wheel movement, the CDS4000 series provides an experience second to none. Car and Driver Magazine said in a review of the CDS4000: "the steering quality is like that of a BMW 540i ". What makes such refined performance possible is the quality that goes into every unit: a precision machined aluminum bearing block supporting a highly tuned ball-bearing suspended steering mechanism. |

An original ECCI innovation for PC driving hardware, the revolutionary ECCI FLDS system is a technical marvel. Superior in impression to any force-feedback scheme, the FLDS provides the user with a weighty yet frictionless feel that replicates the tactile qualities of tires acting against pavement. The damping effect stabilizes steering while maintaining a glass-like smoothness. An added bonus is that the damping effect increases exponentially with steering velocity. This offers the commercial operator a built-in resistance to intentional abuse of the equipment. The FLDS has been widely embraced by ECCI's many commercial customers to the extent that very few CDS4000 systems are shipped without it. |

Pedals take the most abuse in any commercial racing simulator installation. They are also the most troublesome for customers who typically arrive unfamiliar with the specific ergonomics of the installation. ECCI has developed the 4000 series to address both of these concerns. The CDS4000 offers large aluminum blade pedals that can be operated more easily by customers of different ages and sizes than any traditional pedals. Car and Driver magazine called the CDS4000 pedals "the best available, bar none". The CDS4000 pedals also are shock isolated from all sensitive elements of the mechanism. There is simply no way to break them. |
